VPN-1 Net uses Check Point's SMART security architecture to simplify the process of linking offices, partners, and remote workers. Organizations use an intuitive interface to centrally define and distribute an enterprise-wide VPN policy, enabling the power and scalability of VPNs while removing the complexity. The Check Point Management Console provides administrators a simple yet sophisticated VPN "dashboard" for defining and managing a VPN. Organizations control and monitor all aspects of a VPN from the Management Console, including VPN configuration, system status, reporting, and software updates. V-MAP, a graphical VPN topology editor, visually illustrates virtual private networks. Administrators view the effects of policy changes, ensuring correct configuration and simplifying troubleshooting. When introduced into a network with other Check Point solutions, VPN-1 Net can be managed as part of an overall security policy that includes VPNs, network security, client security, and bandwidth management.

Centralized Management
Configuring VPN solutions at multiple locations requires centralized management to avoid errors and save administrator time. With a unique three-tier architecture, VPN-1 Net enables administrators to centrally manage and deploy a single, unified VPN policy to an unlimited number of VPN-1 Net gateways. Once a policy has been created or modified, it is automatically and simultaneously distributed to all locations. Centralized policy management dramatically increases management efficiency when compared to VPN solutions that require either multiple management interfaces or per-device policy installation.
