Sales Support Position - South Florida and Atlanta

Overview
The Sales Support position provides vital support to the Mission Critical Systems’ sales team. This position is responsible for handling sales related administrative tasks requested by sales representatives. Additionally, this position contributes to quality customer service and helps the sales team meet its targets.

Sales Related Tasks

  • Assisting Sales Reps with opening renewal opportunities and quoting
  • Requesting quotes from manufacturer or distributor (partners)
  • When applicable, finding the best method for delivery and best pricing
  • Facilitating communication between Sales Reps and partners
  • Assisting with opportunity updates
  • Track and respond to new requests for products and services, providing first call lead follow up as necessary

Third Party Professional Services Tracking

  • Responsible for tracking engineering projects to determine completion and timing for billing.

Marketing Assistance

  • Outbound Marketing for events including:
  • Coordinating Event registration confirmations and calendaring
  • Event Follow Ups with Prospects
  • Ensure Leads are properly entered into a database

Commercial Account Rep - Georgia and Florida

Account Manager - Network and Data Security

Mission Critical Systems is hiring full-time Mid-level experienced IT Security Sales Account Manager to cover Commercial Accounts (750 users to several thousand) throughout Georgia. The candidate will be responsible for selling name brand Network Security products to existing and new accounts. A strong ability to comprehend complex technical concepts, along with a background in technology, is a requirement for success in this position. www.locked.com.

The Sales candidate will be responsible for selling Network Security products (Firewalls, Anti-Malware, Web App Firewalls, Database Security, DLP, etc) via telephone and face-to-face meetings, with technical engineers to back them up. Sales rep candidates should have prior experience in the IT space (preferably IT Security) and be looking for a long-term career in the Computer / Security industry. Candidate must also be prepared for deep technical learning, experience selling large ticket items, and managing 25-30 accounts at the same time. Prospecting and networking are essential for all candidates. (50% hunting, 50% farming).

DUTIES - Successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Calling on existing and new accounts within the Georgia area
  • Generating leads from cold calling, speaking engagements, and networking
  • Helping customers identify proper technology solutions to achieve their Security goals
  • Generating sales pipelines to achieve quota
  • Contributing product feedback to Mission Critical Systems management
  • Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Protecting organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Taking advantage of training and learning opportunities to offer valuable consultative advice to customers
  • Completing related assignments as required.

Reports to: Sales Manager – Commercial Accounts

SALES SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Required 2+ years software or IT sales experience. Selling network security or computer software products is a plus. College studies in Business, MIS, or Computer Information Systems is recommended.
  • Successful Sales Track Record with specifics on quota achievement, clients and deal sizes in the range of $100K+
  • Ability to master technical products and understand how they protect a customer’s network.
  • Computer literate in terms of standard Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with network infrastructure.

PERSONAL SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Must be personable and outgoing and easy to get along with
  • Quick learner/ability to understand complex subject matter quickly
  • Must be a self-starter, positive outlook, and have a high level of enthusiasm
  • Ability to function in an independent environment without the need to be micro-managed closely on a daily basis
  • Highly motivated by the opportunity to earn unlimited income with a strong work ethic

Senior Information Security Engineer Position - Atlanta 

Overview:
Mission Critical Systems, a market-leading IT Security VAR, seeks a Senior Information Security Engineer with a strong Palo Alto background. Individual will be responsible for assisting our customers with installation configuration, and troubleshooting of security products, such as firewall gateways, IPS, Web Application Firewalls and other gateway/endpoint technologies. 
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • 5+ years of experience with IP networking and security devices. 
  • Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Solutions, VPN appliances, event and log analysis, security change tracking and other network security systems and devices.
  • Develop detailed documentation for operational use and customer reports..
  • Stay up-to-date on security concepts and technologies. 
  • Ensure client needs are met and deliverables produced on time according to specified project deliverables/scope
  • Expert knowledge on Palo Alto Firewalls and Security Platforms
  • Requires both telephone and on-site work.  Some after-hours work and overnight travel is required. 

Qualifications:

  • Strong background in Internet security.
  • Strong Linux/Unix skills.
  • Strong TCP/IP internetworking skills including a thorough understanding of application protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
  • Strong knowledge of security solutions and product lines.
  • Scripting/coding skills a plus. 
  • Customer oriented, friendly and have the ability to work well within a diverse group of people
  • Strong problem solving abilities.
  • Excellent written, oral, and telephone communication skills.
  • Team player and able to work under pressure.
  • Applicant must be a US citizen and be able to pass a criminal background check.
